Spanish - What is the difference between mucho and muchìsimo?

( -ÍSIMO, MA ): Suffix used to form the superlative degree of adjectives and some adverbs.

Eg... Malísimo, buenísimo, aburridísimo.

Mucho: Much.

Muchísimo: Very much, a lot...

The only difference is that "muchissimo" means more "more" than "mucho", you could maybe translate it in " a lot more".

But it is good to know that the word "muchissimo" is not really use in the "literature", we use it almost only in the oral conversation or in texts wrote in a familiar way.

mucho is positive degree of comparison, muchisimo is superlative degree

mucho = very

muchisimo = very very much

mucho is just very

muchisimo is very very. the -isimo adds exageration. you just add it to the end of an adj, and then its exaggerated.

ex : rico = yummy

riquisimo = DELIIOUSS!!!

Mucho.... a lot....

Muchisimo....a whole lot.....

If I say...me gustas mucho....I like you a lot....

If I say....me gustas muchisimo....I like you a whole lot....
