What is a good website building software?

Hi There,

After having tried several these are what I use. Both are free downloads.

1. Kompozer....this is the best free "wysiwyg" HTML editor. It supports everything except "frames".

Kompozer has very good help options and with just a little work you can have an html page.

2. Coffeecup free HTML editor....it is not a true "wysiwyg" editor but it does have a nice preview tab for viewing what your page will look like.

3.You can get some free website templates here...http://www.freewebsitetemplates.com/

4. You also can use "Notepad" for making html pages after you have experience.

Once you have made a web page you can save it to a folder on your desktop.

Then when you click on it it will open up in your browser and you will see exactly how it will look on the web. Don't forget to save any images you use in the same folder so the browser can "find" them.

This will take some work and time so be patient. You will learn as you go.
