If something is Sure As Hell, how sure is it?

Speaking figuratively, pretty damn sure.

Possibly as sure as they are that hell exists, which might get fuzzy as everyone has a unique view of hell...

It's a tad more sure than when someone tells me something I'm not so sure of, which results in me replying, "The hell you say...!"

Sure as heck is much more plausible that being sure as hell. Hell doesn't exist, but heck does...

It doesn't seem as stupid as saying "funny as hell" because what is funny about hell?

I don't believe in it, but the idea is certainly not amusing.
