Dell Inspiron 600m won't power up?
My Dell 600m won't boot up. The battery light flashes green, slowly, and then after a while it goes off. It did this before, and after a few days (maybe a week) it booted fine for a while. Then I had to move it, and we were back to dead. It just started blinking (the battery light) again. Anyone have any ideas? And please no smart butt answers. If I could afford to replace this four year door stop, I would.

I believe your battery may be failing as it won't boot up when you try to use it. Does it boot up with the power cord plugged in? If so, then it's definitely the battery. If it doesn't, does it boot up if you remove the battery and just keep the power plugged in? If so, then you may have a problem with internal hardware.
If it won't boot up either way, either your charger or something inside the laptop broke so it is unable to hold a charge.
