How to clean synthetic fur?
I have a jacket with a synthetic fur collar. The fur's white, and after a while it got really dark from the dirt, but I don't know how to clean it without damaging it. I asked at the dry cleaners if they can help, but they told be they told me it'll cost a lot and they can't guarantee it works. So, maybe there's some simpler, less expensive solution? I really like that jacket!

Well, I can't give you a guarantee either...but maybe you can just wash the jacket in your washer.
Fake fur is often machine-washable. Sometime the fur looks matted after washing, tho. You can fluff it back up with a clean hairbrush. Or you can pop the jacket into your dryer for a while to fluff the fur back up.
Keep in mind that sometimes fake fur must be dry cleaned. I would follow the instructions on the jacket's label. If you can't find any instructions, you might be able to machine wash the jacket, but realize it's a gamble. I've washed fake fur, myself, but I can't guarantee the outcome for you.
