Lgbt: Is it good to have complete differences?
I feel like my partner and I are completely different, we hae been together for almost a year. I love fashion, dance and other things like that. My partner loves paintballing, airsoft, guns, and knives.
I honestly hate that he like these things! I hate the ideas of guns and other things like that. Is it bad that we have these differences? I feel selfish cause I want him to be more... Like me.
Is it totally badnof me to say that?
I don't know what to do or say, I want him to have fun but I don't want to deal with the weapons.

Well. See here's the problem. You two need to find some sort of common ground with this situation. I mean you can't live with someone if you're not getting along because of your activities outside the home, living like that is almost as bad as if you found out he was cheating on you or something. What I might suggest is maybe going on a paintball trip with him one day, go see what his fun is like. And in turn have him go to a dance or maybe to a theatre show or something like that so he can see what your fun is like first hand. And then you two can make these little trips out a regular thing. And the best part? After either one you two can go out to dinner so there's a silver lining to everything lol
