how do you get back into dating after 6 years of a relationship?

wow. So yeah, I got laid off two months ago and haven't found work since. I've tried hard, but non luck.  I had money so kept up with the bills. later she gets up set because I'm not working and we get into a long argument. I tell her if she doesn't like it she can move out. well, she does eventually after two weeks........

but only because I found out she had been cheating with some guy on FB... behind my back. once I found all of the disgusting details.... I packed her stuff up and sent her out the door at 3 in the morning. 

so now, I'm kinda stuck. since we where together for 6 years, and we moved into Austin.. not knowing anyone. 
and the worst part is that I forgot how to meet people.

I am 33 now and was raising a family..... so I'm trying to change gears but not sure how.

so, suggestion in austin (not 6th street) would help.

My sister-in-law, a nice, respectable and intelligent lady was looking for the right guy. She put an add in a good newspaper and met a few of the guys who responded.

She married one of them a few years later. They make a great pair too.

It worked for her, may for you.
