I don't live in LA and never would. I've been all over the country and I'll try to distill it down into a few simple facts. Housing costs are higher on the east and west coasts and less expensive and more stable in the center of the country. People in the large cities of California and the northeast tend to be rude and obnoxious. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of nice, decent people, but there's a lot of jerks. People in the Midwest and deep south tend to more mannerly and polite. They still have and use manners. In the deep south you'll find lots of "Yes ma'am" and "Yes Sir". If you want to get a true taste of America, try to do a little traveling. You'll find that when you get away from the large cities, people in small towns and rural areas are decent, honest, hard working folks that still help people in need. Their values are much different than those in the large cities and while things may not be as exciting from a culture standpoint, at least you can walk down a street safely and leave your house unlocked whenever you go somewhere. Please don't go back to Brazil and tell people that the US is nothing but roving gangs, bars on windows and drive by shootings. Something else, Americans as a whole are very patriotic. We fly the American flag in our yards, on our clothes and our vehicles. We also have a political system that sure isn't perfect, but is much different than a lot of so called democracies in other parts of the world. We're proud of the freedoms we have and of who we are. For example, at first my Australian wife thought we Americans were being arrogant and cocky but now realizes that here the common individual has more rights and is more able to change things in our government that elsewhere. As an example, if we don't like the political candidates we have to choose from, we don't have to vote. In Australia, you get fined if you don't vote. Our schools are run by boards consisting of locally elected, non-paid individuals rather than the state calling the shots. Unlike Australians, we have the constitutional right to own firearms. On the downside, this means nut cases can own guns but on the up side, this means the military or police can't enforce illegal martial law because we can shoot back. Good luck, enjoy yourself and try to have some good stories to tell the folks back home.

While it might generally be fair to compare the usability at depth or the usefulness (or lack thereof) of a helium escape valve, I will not be using these factors. Most of these watches will not be used at any serious depth. If use as a deep diving watch is your prime consideration, then let me point you to a Rolex Sea-Dweller DEEPSEA, a Breitling Avenger Seawolf, or a Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk… any of which can survive underwater longer and deeper than your average whale (go on, look it up, if you don’t believe me.)

To give the Best Answer, wait 4 hours or so for the "Best Answer" button to pop up. Then click it.

But remember, you get what you pay for.
