It is not the ignorance of Americans about the rest of the world that worries me - we are used to that - but their appalling spelling and grammar really worries me.

In my experience Americans (not all) tend to be quite secular and have limited knowledge about things which arent 'American'.

At school they only learn American history and geography, so it is not really their faults that they dont know much about the rest of the world.
