Why can't I put a tampon in correctly?
I've had my period a longgg time and have gone through countless tampon boxes trying to put one in. I can slide one in comfortably, but once it's there I always feel it and it hurts. I know I put it in far enough because once I just about had my whole finger inside me trying. I don't know what's wrong.

This might sound weird but maybe you could have your GYNO help you. All women can be shaped differently so it can hit a wall or something and you might have to twist and move a little bit. Do you have heavy periods? I remember I used to try to put them in before I had started my first ever period and it never worked, but having a heavy period makes a huge difference because of the lubrication. Sorry I know gross, but its the truth.
Try getting a pelvic exam, might as well get your yearly one out of the way and ask why it would be happening. There is NOTHING they haven't seen. Tampons are way too convenient for you not to be able to have the option to use them

Maybe you put it in when there wasn't enough blood. Imagine putting a tampon in a bloodless vagina; you would easily feel it. Either that or you just have to get used to it and eventually you won't notice it anymore. The same thing happened to me. Give it another try and try to keep them in for a while.

i don't know why it would hurt unless your putting it in too far... are you sure your putting it in right?
