You will never find a laptop with a free version of MS Office. Don't argue with me on that. You might be confused, because you seem to think that MS Works 9, is MS Office 9... but it's not. There is no MS Office 9. MS Works, is a different program suite, and it is given away freely on a ton of computers. MS Office costs about $300 (depending on where you buy it) and Microsoft has NO intention to give it away. It is one of their bread and butter products. So, if you want to have MS Word, you are going to have to pay for MS Office.

You game. What... you play solitaire? You play free flash games at Yahoo Games? You play WoW? What does this mean "I game"? No, I have a right to ask that question, and I just proved it. You might be a gamer because you play games, but the computer you need to play some games is VERY different from the computer you need to play other games. Will do a fine job playing WoW, because WoW is a 6 year old game, and the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS of WoW are significantly lower than the system specifications of that particular laptop. However, that particular laptop won't play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. So, it will play one game, but it won't play another... is it a gaming laptop? That depends on the games you play. Without letting us know the minimum specifications you need to meet to play the games you want to play, any and all suggestions are essentially useless... unless you want to buy a mobile gaming platform like the Toshiba Qosmio X500 http://laptops.toshiba.com/laptops/Qosmio/ for $1500 which will play most games very well.
