The other day, I turned on my 80BG iPod classic and found a cluster of dead pixels...?
The next time I turned it on, a line of dead pixels had formed. I tried that colour video a number of times without success. I've massaged the screen and gotten rid of a considerable portion of the line but the original cluster on the side of the screen remains. I've had the iPod for about 2 years now so I'm sure the warranty is over and I can't afford for apple to fix it. How can I get rid of it by myself?
It still works normally, it just looks a bit weird with the colour dots from massaging the screen in an attempt to get rid of the line and the little grey blob on the side.

does it still work i dont maybe you should send it in or call apple and they can fix it for like $50.00 that happen with my mac computer after 1 year and a half all of a sudden half of the screen was white and they fixed for like 50 bucks but yeah thats what you should do
