Why is my cat watering my hubby?
This one is really perplexing, but I'm hoping someone has heard of this before.
Our 4 month old kitten has adopted my hubby as her "mommy". She'll follow him everywhere. The weird thing is this...
This morning he was sleeping and we have Hera's food and water dish on the desk beside the bed (since she stays in the room with us at night). She was going over to her water dish, filling her mouth with water, and then walking over and spitting it into his open hand, then going back to her water dish and repeating.
I know she's weird, but is she SERIOUSLY weird? lol
She wasn't taken from her litter until she was over 2 months btw.

OHHH TOO FUNNY!
IT'S GOT TO BE A " im taking care of you thing.." like giving you a drink or something.
My cat use to bring me mice in the middle of the night (dead of course... then i stopped it and now she brings me her toy mouse!... mewing all the while she is coming in)
Possibly move the water / food dishes to the other side of the room???

Aww thats soooo sweet!, Dont worry. It is probably a sign of affection. Maybe when the cat was in the litter it bought its cat mommy water. It could be a cleaning thing.

I have never heard of a kitten doing this and I had a cat that had kittens, kept them for 6 months and I never saw them do anything like this. Have to admit it seems cute I love kittens.

you probably just have a quirky kitty<3 she was probably trying to wake him up for teh petz. my cat used to sit on my roommate's face in the morning. she would only eat if her dish was on the table, when we were eating. your cat's just silly. be thankful for it. the fun ones are once-in-a-lifetime friends.
