do you think ever...............?

Question

Candle burns off
on every bit, every night
she ends up her life, 
for a great cause,right !
she lives for others
for others she dies !
she sacrifices herself 
in spreading out light;
engulfed in darkness
the world she makes bright !
This is what we are meant for 
and for God gave us spirit;
but dare hardly a few,
simply being meager, rest all quit!

This was beautiful and inspiring.  I read it earlier today, and it gave me strength to write a poem I had been wanting to, but was uncertain how to approach.  Thank you for the encouragement!  : )
