How long should you wait when reapplying for a job?
I really want to work in a bookstore and I applied 2 weeks ago... it's safe to say that they won't call me. Has it been long enough to apply again? Is it okay to apply every 2 weeks? I can't get a job anywhere else so I might as well try right?

i would say, find another bookstore or another kind of store. don't limit yourself to a bookstore. maybe that is the reason why you were not called. your qualifications does not fit their needs for their bookstore. maybe you are good at something else. try to discover that. once your application is rejected once, they will never consider the same applicant again and there is a reason for that.
don't loose hope. maybe this bookstore is not for you, there is something better.
Quelle(n): i am a hiring manager. i always remember the applicants i reject because i always put a note on the application form the reason why i rejected them and i don't want to bother myself with them again. my notes are like this: over qualified, not qualified, not physically fit, too young, too old, no experience, with police record, too shy, over confident, etc. it could be positive or negative.
