Isn't it outrageous that Iceland says no to the new suggestion for the repayment of debts ?

I mean i would like to see them in the EU, but the Icelanders say no without making a reasonable fair suggestion.
what is your opinion ?
and what could they do ?

Actually Iceland offered to to pay all the assets of the bank in question, which would cover about 90% of the amount owed. The total population of Iceland is 320.000 and we are talking about a lot of money, a debt that would put heavy burden on every man, woman and child in Iceland for decades.

I can't say I blame them .. after all they had no say in the lending policies of the Icelandic Banks, and received not one penny of the profits nor were paid even a one cent 'bonus' ..

Why should the public pay when those who ran the Bank continue to live high off their multi-million 'Bonus' payments, inflated salaries and contribution free pensions ..  if there was any justice, those who ran the Bank would be made Bankrupt and their assets seized as 'step one'...
