Scientifically we can notice that the earth is not stable anymore like it was already( global warming, Ozone Hole, Poles ice is melting, Tsunamis .....etc.), this things can gives us a sign that the future will not be the same as the past, there are big challenges which are uncontrollable by means of Humankind.

If you believe in the "judgment day" then i guess that you believe in one of the abrahamic religions.

I have read in Islam religion that there are a lot of signs which are mentioned at the beginning of Islam religion and it started to appear now to the reality.... it is really interesting topic to read .. according to the Islam religion there are minor and major signs , you will see that most of the minor ones are appeared now

Any transformation is likely gradual, deliberate, and slowly evolves into a new reality. Whenever existing conditions are not sustainable a change will bring about a new and improved reality. Thus, the most hurt are those who created the need for change. Insustainability is usually caused by undue stresses and strains on a system of checks and balances until it is no longer viable. Transformation of our nature does not necessarily start with a destruction but with a recognition of those stressers that are not sustainable. In tyrannical societies the stresses of maintaining the tyranny are always present until a revolution brings everyone to a breaking point where destruction and rebuilding are necessary to bring about a more sustainable society.

The entire chapter of Matthew 24 outlines a chain of events. The apostles asked Christ nearly the same question. Christ predicted earthquakes before his return. (Matthew 24:3 As Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him in private. "Tell us when all this will be," they asked, "and what will happen to show that it is the time for your coming and the end of the age. Matthew 24:7 Countries will fight each other; kingdoms will attack one another. There will be famines and earthquakes everywhere.) These earthquakes are prophecies being fulfilled right before our eyes.

The big event will be Christs return. (Matthew 24:27 For the Son of Man will come like the lightning which flashes across the whole sky from the east to the west.)

Haiti, Chile, Huge Ice burg headed towards Australia, terrorism, racism growing, do I really need to continue? I dont think there will be an end of the world I just think humans will take two different paths In the near future. We all will be faced with a decision.

Oh and our sun is burning out, that will be the true end of this place.

The end of the universe will never happen (as far as our knowledge of the universe is today).

The end of the sun will be in about 5 billion years when it turns into a white dwarf, and, sometime later, get sucked into a black hole.

The end of life on earth will happen in less than a billion years.

The end of human life on earth will happen in less than a million years. Hope fully we will have evolved into a man/machine hybrid before then and will be visiting the stars and finding other life forms.

I don't subscribe to the idea of a final judgment or a spiritual or cosmic End of Everything.

I don't want to go into a lot of detail here, but the very short answer - at least from my own spiritual beliefs - is that everything in the Universe runs in cycles. Right now we appear, at least from our perspective, to be in a crappy part of that cycle, and a lot of things are going from bad to worse. My belief is that this is temporary, and over a period of time we will cycle back into more prosperous times.

Our magnetic field will go away as the core of the earth cools and solidifies, and then there will be no defense against the solar flares and other radiation, and the atmosphere will be gradually thinned out, as it has already happened on Mars. Life as we know it will fade away.

Or the sun could go to its next phase, which is to become a red giant, and that will cause it to cool and expand. It will not seem cool to us, as the surface of the sun will extend out beyond Mars. we will cook. The oceans and atmosphere will go away.

Fail.

It will end when it ends and not a minute sooner or later.

Current mainstream cosmological thought is that the time and space will continue to unfold within the singularity forever; the universe will gradually grow cold and dark as the static matter becomes more and more diffuse and the energy is depleted. Hell will freeze over...
