how long did it take to get your tax refund when doing the emerald card in 8 to 15 days?
Me and my husbands refund was alot and because it was over a certain amount we could not get it back in 2 days on our emerald card, so we did the emerald card and had the 8 to 15 day window to get it back... I was just wondering for the people who have done this, how long did it take to get urs on ur card?
We have always used the emeral card, we never have had a problem with it and usually got the money that night when doing the 2 day thing, but we couldnt this time cuz we got back to much. We did not do direct deposit because our bank is retarded and if we would have done it then the money would have gotten to the bank in a week or so but then they would put a hold on it until they were ready to put it in the account because it makes our bank money to do so...

properly I did my taxes at H R scams on January 13, 2009. as we talk is the twenty 8th of January I nonetheless have not considered my money on the emerald card. in case you may and ask them they only say they are able to't promise a definite time-physique in spite of the very indisputable fact which you pay for 8-15 days. that's the final 300 and sixty 5 days I ever visit a H R Block. They no longer exist to me

the tax place promise you a refund in 8-15 days, how and why do they do that? they have not idea when IRS is going to issue the refund, they have not idea if IRS is going to hold your refund, they have no idea if you are in full compliance by filing all your tax returns from 2003 through 2008. Why they do it, because they make more money out of tax payers, charge and arm and a leg and lie.
If you don't have the refund in 15 days from the date IRS accepted your return, then call IRS at 1-800-829-1954 to find out the status.

It amazes me how many people elect to get those dumb emerald cards. They are designed to make H&R Block tons of money by earning interest on YOUR money....not to mention that your refund is actually delayed because it has to go through extra institutions. Why not just get a regular direct deposit and not have this dumb card? I got my direct deposit in about 5-7 business days.
