What is wrong with some parents who consider Miley Cyrus a good role model for their children?

all the ppl ur talking about have one thing in common......their dead! girls need to have a role model who's actually alive.

They probably don't pay much attention to the media. All they know about Miley Cyrus is that she is a girl who plays an innocent pop star on TV. They probably have no idea about the too-old-for-her photos or anything.

well teenage girls cant really relate to your examples but I agree I dont think miley is the one to follow here, although shes not the worst of the under 21 crowd thats running around.

Takes all kinds to make this world go round. I don't think anything of it. I just wish Miley would spit that excess saliva out of her mouth, or at least swallow it, instead of slurping every 5th word.

But Miley is not trash... shes just a normal teen human girl with the normal feelings of wanting to be attractive, get boys attention, get boyfriends, snuggle, make out, make love

This is not trashy its just growing up thats all. Humans do that you know.

If girls did not act hot due to hormones, guys would not see them as hot and would just see them as mates to hang out with, nobody would kiss, snaggle, get horney, fall in love, no making love, no more children, no more human race and disney go out of business.

Think logically.

Waring skipy outfits that draw attention to a girls reproductive potential is no different from a guy working out in the gym, getting fit letting girls see his muscels , acting cool, chatting up and having a nice car.

Gilrs need 'ordinary older girls' to look up to who can pull boyfriends confidently as well as the more seriosu grown up ones to look up to emulating when they grow older like Mother Teresa, Amelia Earhart etc .

The latter as not a nun would have also wanted to attract boys, fall in love, make love, send nughty letters to and recive them as nude photo sending would not be around then as part of a love life as well as being the first womn to fly the atlantic.

You can have a sex/love life and be a successful poineer or chartity worker

But your right that they need to have role models who aint bimbos.

Trash however would be violent gang thugs or relgious puritan bullies

Its perfectly fine for a late teen girl to want to feel sexy, or send sexy photos to boyfriends as leads to having someone to snuggle up with and be happy sleeping with after making love when in love

Unlike gang violence or gay bashing, forced marriage, abusive relgious freaks

I wouldn't want my daughter to look up to her, but I don't think there's anything "wrong" with the parents. Depending on what you believe or think, people will always be criticized for who their children look up to. What is wrong with people who let their children look up to Condoleeza Rice and Eleanor Roosevelt? What is wrong with people who let their children look up to Venus and Serena Williams? What is wrong with people who let their children look up to Hillary Clinton? What is wrong with people who let their children look up to Dakota Fanning? What IS wrong with people who let their children look up to Sarah Palin? What is wrong with people who let their children look up etc, etc, etc.?

Nothing is wrong with them. They just don't think the same as you, or care about the same things as you.
