is this anything that i should worry about?
I started having some minor pain in the top of my foot after playing racquetball the other day. The next day, I went to the gym and did the elliptical and had no pain during it or afterward, but about 2 hours after finishing it started to hurt. I kept prodding and rubbing it out of habit and that seemed to make it worse to the point that I didn't want to walk completely normally on it. I went dancing last night and that didn't seem to make it worse...if anything, the pain is better today.
Should I worry about it being a stress fracture? The only cardio activities that I do are the elliptical and swimming. The racquetball was just a one time thing. Any suggestions?

to be honest what you have is probly swelling from too much compression.
i get that all the time on the top of my foot as well as my ankles, and i get that from skipping and doing tennis.
the reason why it dosnt hurt on the ellptical is becuase the motion you are using is not compressing the bones/muscles and tissues in your foot while racquetball you do.
what i suggest is see how it feels after about a week and if the pain is still there and hurts go to a doctor but if not then its nothing to really worry about. :)
