Nook vs Kindle 2 vs Sony Ebook?
I'm thinking about taking the plunge into a digital reader. I really like the B&N Nook because they have a new function where you can loan books between Nooks for 14 days at a time. I can read a friend's copy or vice versa, and it moves from one reader to another, and then back again. But the Kindle 2 is bigger, lighter and seems to have a bigger following. I admit to knowing bupkus about the Sony e-reader. Any suggestions or reviews? Try to respond ONLY if you have one of these things since I can already make crap up about things I don't own.

You need to read the fine print on the lending feature. Its only one time per book and its only on about 30% of new releases since its dependent on the publisher giving the okay. I share all my books with my husband on our kindles, but we also share an account (and therefore a credit card). Just something to keep in mind though.
The Sony reader is a *great* device, but their bookstore is really expensive and not as large as B&N and Amazon which is why fewer people go with it.
I do have the Kindle and I can tell you its been a joy since day one. I can tell you I pulled it out of the package and was reading within 20 minutes (if that). Its easy and intuitive to use and the one time I had to call customer service because of a small problem they overnighted me a new one and gave me a print off to send the old one back. Couldn't ask for more. Most books I want are available and the ones that aren't available aren't in e-book form anywhere else either. The K2 has a bigger following because really in a way they earned it. Sony was the first to come out, but they didn't do it quite right. B&N came out with the nook, but they had so many problems with the roll out that trying to get the device out before Christmas really turned into a fiasco and drove people away. Just my observations.

i would recommend you buying kindle.its sure worth buying.Wireless is a unique feature I will say and that's make really value for money. 3G wireless and global coverage, I personally travel a lot and really worthy for me. You can have any newspaper at any place. Paper like display, 1500 books storage and list is on.I love this little magic book.
I would say the kindle wins the number of books available on amazon keeps on increasing and the books on nook are much more expensive than that on Kindle. And also many Kindle books, magazines and newspapers are cheaper than the actual paper version. Also it has so good features such as Text-To-Speech.
