Gardening Question: I live in Southern CA?

Spray off your plants with a strong blast of water which will not off the aphids. Indoors this can be done in the shower. Then spray with a horticultural oil (can be used anytime the temperature is below 85 F.) You can use a soap spray but my preference is the oil. The oil will suffocate any pests and their eggs on your plant. I would not recommend making either yourself because if the proportions or the soap or oil you use are not correct it could damage your plants.

try soap (liquid) 1oz per gal. water for spider mites and aphids. for white flies this might help short term. good luck.
