dina demalhuta dina
The law of the host nation is the law of the land. Jews have lived by this rule for 2000 years.
I guess the Muslims can not live up to that high standard so want a lesser one of their own.
Such as Sharia Law.

Sharia law should not have any LEGAL standing in the US.
Just as Catholics voluntarily submit themselves to Canon Law [e.g. in matters of whether a marriage is valid or can be dissolved], Muslims can submit themselves voluntarily to Sharia law. But it should not have any force in the US judicial system, which is not associated with any religion.
This means, of course, that the Church or the Islamic authorities cannot force compliance to their laws, as a civil authority can.

i comprehend that a number of what you stated is genuine, like the records relating to the Arch Bishop of Canterbury. i do no longer comprehend if something is genuine, the vote failing with the aid of 10 votes. whether it is genuine, it is amazingly frightening. it is what the terrorists have stated all alongside is their only suitable objective. If England bows all the way down to them, who's next? Very worrying certainly.

Absolutely not!. They chop hands off for theft and kill their daughters for dating a man unacceptable to the father. A religious difference is punishable by beheading or a bombing in the local grocery store. Is this how far back we want to regress into primitive cultures? I though we were well past that kind of thinking as a nation.

Shari'a Law is already legal in the USA on *exactly* the same basis as it is in England.
The law - in both the UK and the USA - allows any two consenting parties to agree to have a dispute settled in any way they choose. In a civil court, in front of an arbitrator, or in front of any other panel they choose - including a Jewish or Islamic court.
That is the ONLY legal basis for a Shari'a Court to rule on a case in England or the US - that both parties have chosen it.

No. Our Constitution is the basis for our laws. Not ANY religion. Remember...separation of church and state.
