internet explorer shutting down?

When I fill out my log on details to a website as soon as I click log in I am back to my desktop. I've reset my pc to yesterday and contacted the website owners to confirm there is not a problem at their end. Any ideas anyone?

Thanks for the reply s. I've tried both chrome and firefox both work ok except that on the website in question after I log in the graphs that I'm interested in are not there. Also when I try other sites using I E the same thing happens. I've tried re installing I E with no difference

    Hi

    I would uninstall IE and resintall a newer version. It sounds like IE is corrupt so remove it and reinstall. Try to avoid firefox at the min it has more security flaws than IE.

    probably a virus, but possibly the software was corrupted somehow. Try using Firefox or Chrome. Also try going to other websites and see if that all works ok.

    Switch to Firefox and get an updated anti virus-even if free.I'd recommend Avira along with Malwarebytes anti malware.

    Firefox is far better than I E and also it is free.
