How does one become happy in their life? If knowing that making sure everyone else is okay,....?

Update:

Knowing(wa-whatever) that I've spent most of my life helping them with their problems- whats next???? I don't see any of the people I helped at least trying to make sure that I'm okay

    for me it is good that we think first the others than in our own happiness. making them happy will give us peace of mind. i will not be happy in the first place if i know someone is sad.
