HELLP! HOW TO UNINSTALL WINDOWS INTERNET EXPLORER 8!!?

Just click Start->Settings->Control Panel->double click Add/Remove Programs, on the panel that loads up on the screen, scroll down to Internet Explorer 8 and left click it, it will turn blue and you have the option to Remove or Repair. Click Remove. When it has gone, close all panels and restart the computer. You will now have IE7.

Assuming you have XP, you click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and scroll down until you find Internet Explorer 8. Click to remove it. Then close the Control Panel, and restart the computer so this change will take effect. It will revert back to IE7 or IE6, or whatever you have before. And IE8 won't ruin your computer, but it is hard to get used to. I got so disgusted with Internet Explorer that I went to Firefox and am I glad! It works beautifully with my new Vista computer and in fact, worked just as well with the old XP computer. It's a really good, well done, piece of software and is FREE! They keep it updated, so you never have to worry about another IE8.

By this do you mean degrade IE8?

Calm down stop panicking... IE 8 is bad yes but only in terms of functionality, it wont 'mess' your computer up.

If you want to downgrade, For Windows XP platform,just go to add or remove program and find Internet Explorer 8 Beta then remove it.Your IE version will become your previous version that you were using before you upgrade.

internet explorer is built in to the windows operating system

if you are downgrading from IE 8 to 7 or 6 then just unistall IE 8 from the control panel

IE8 is the best IE yet but uninstalling it will just revert the Computer back to IE7.

If you really read the steps you should know this.

Tell you're mom that IE8 is not bad for you're Computer.

It's just that Firefox is way better.

No need to uninstall. Just download Firefox and set it as you're default browser.

administration Panel, choose upload/ get rid of programes, scroll right down to Explorer 8, click get rid of, then save on with what's asked.. i'm assuming which you downloaded it from the internet, to enhance from IE7.

it won't affect anything in your computer but before uninstalling it make sure you have other way to access the internet ex. mozillafirefox, thunderbird google chrome or something like that
