Help with the German genative case?

hey, I have forgotten how exactly the genative case works. Is it that when the thing you are reffering to is a der or das noun, that it goes kind of like this:

Er ist der Sohn des Mannes.

Es ist das Buch des Bibliotheks.

I can't remember at all how it works when the noun is die.

Sie sind die Kinder der Frau. Is it like that? I have no idea.

    You got it right. ...die Kinder der Frau. From my experience living in Germany, its not used in everyday speech very much at all.

    Edit: Almost forgot....all plurals also become der.
