Do you support gay marriage :]?

My son is gay and he has asked me to give him away at his wedding next year....................and I feel so privileged.

I definitely believe in Gay marriage. First off i don't believe that someone chooses to be gay. Its just how you feel about a person. You cant help who you fall in love with. Also no one should be told who they can and cant love. As long as you are happy and you are not hurting anyone than you should be free to love anyone you want. Besides denying gay marriage in the first place goes against the constitution. First off most of the reason that people say they are against Gay marriage is that it goes against God. If they choose to believe that fine but not only is that trying to force your religion on other people (Which freedom of religion and being able to choose your own beliefs is one of the reasons we came to this country in the first place.) But second off it goes against the constitution because other than religious and others "moral" reasons there is no reason that Gay marriage should be illegal. Because by outlawing Gay marriage it mixes church and state. And we are supposed to be keeping religion out of the Government. I completely support Gay marriage. And i respect other peoples choice not to. But i do not believe that it is right to infringe on peoples happiness.

I know what you say its true... but i feel so awkward when guys to guys/girls to girls show their love in public...

i really dont know... im no religious freak but like i wonder if this is what god meant to creat when he created us...

edit: i know love is love and i believe every one deserves it... but i still think about the last part of my first aswer...

I guess i would go on neither side in a homesexuality discussion. Im not against but i dont favor it either.

Yes indeed. There's supposed to be a separation of church and state,meaning gay people should be allowed to get married legally, if not spiritually.

Besides, you can't really help who you fall for.

They have the right to do whatever they want just as much as I do, or anyone else for that matter.

Who the HELL has ANY right to tell someone else they can't do as they please?! What makes that person oh so wonderful to be able to say "Oh I don't think things should be that way, so everyone else has to think the same as me." I can't stand people like that! People need to let other people live their own lives without bothering them.

Everyone is entitled to what makes them happy.

Sure i do. my sister is bi-sexual and one of my bestfriends is 'gay'. I'm friends with a guy who is gay and i was the first one he told when he came out. so why not and 'gay' people are much nicer than straight people :)
