$10309/(1+30%)=7930

$7930/(1+22%)=$6500 
(c)If the manufacturer sells the camera to the customer directly for $10075, what is the percentage profit?
$(10075-6500)/$6500
=$3575/$6500
=55%

$242/(1-40%)=$403.3
the cost of the washing machine is
$2541/(1-16%)=$3025 
(b)What is the overall percentage loss?
the income is $242+$2541=$2783
the cost is $403.3+$3025=$3428.3
$2783/$3428.3=81.2%
1-81.2%=18.8%
