you can easily download a mp4 converter but if you a video format converter already installed on your pc you can go right ahead and use that. I prefer Xsilisoft Ultimate though. Itunes and Ipod touch only recognizes video in mp4 format (as well as H.264) so you will need to convert your movies before adding them into library. As for the DVDs, you will have to rip them into mp4 or H.264 format as well.
