If this terrorist Nidal Hassan committed this act of terror in Saudi Arabia, Jordan or any other Arab or Muslim country. Do you think he would be treated in a nice hospital, have his brother come and visit him or even have any rights? Oh poor Hassan he has good in the good USA. He would have been dead by now in any of the mentioned countries...only in Good old America terrorist go on killing innocent people and still have rights...I know what is your right and my right as American citizen Death is what you deserve you bastard.

Hassan is a coward and shameful. You are right. America has been good to him and this is how he repays America. It is because the US isn't like middle east countries that we are so great. Let him have his trial. Death will make him a martyr in islam. I would rather that he slowly die in a prison cell and the authorities forget where they put him.

It's not just in America.  Here in the UK our government is spineless when it comes to deporting people who actively plot against this country.

Is this the West's achilles heel or its strength now. Everybody has rights now even murderers and traitors.

However, he will have a military trial and is that going to be quick and execution to follow.
He was a serving soldier who murdered fellow soldiers.

Due process is a necessary check against tyranny but nobody should have to spend too much time on death row. (How about 2 weeks?)
