how do i activate comcast cable box?

When you turn on the box, there must be a serial number which you can give to comcast and they will activate it remotely.

i got 2 more cable boxes and i lost the paper with the number on it.. does any one know the number???

i have already called 1 800 comast andits not really working out...

before u pay any money make sure its hooked up properly cable from the wall to the receiver in side out of receiver too tv then after u do this call comcast ask them too reset your receiver usuallly takes 15 min after the call is done should work unless its the wall outlet or u could try on a diff outlet u know works too see if receiver is good if it does do the first thing i suggested good luck!!!!!!!!
