i have to write an essay with a brief description and impact of their ideas
ps it has to be 2 and a half pages and all i got is
Copernicus studied movements of the sun. He created a theory of heliocentric, placed the sun in the center of the universe and published it in a book that he published on his death bed. He did this so he would not get in trouble with the church. Galileo created a telescope and studied astronomy. He read Copernicus’s book and proved his theory to be correct. He went against the church when he did. He was put on house arrest and hid book was banned. Because of this, people read his book and spread this theory around.

good opportunity to do some research. who were the contemporary political powers that were so fearsome? what else was going on, in science and art, at the time? what was the prevailing cosmological viewpoint at the time? what led copernicus to his theory? what observations did he and galileo make? who created the lens?
and, if you change the form of writing style to avoid the use of the verb "to be", you will convey facts more efficiently.
