How old do you think is too old to trick or treat and why?

That should be left up to the child. If a kid is comfortable going out trick or treating at 16, then more power to him or her! As long as they are not being unruly and disruptive to the rest of the kids they are around, then why not? Especially if they can be trusted to be civic-minded. They can help parents of younger ones keep an overall eye out for all the kids out there.

The last year I trick or treated I had just turned 14 or was just about to, I don't know. My birthday 4 days before Halloween, so whenever it was that year.

There is no specific age. It just depends on you and how mature or immature you are. The age group differs with different people. Quite frankly if you want to trick or treat just go for it you only live once...and that goes for everyone.

Well...If you get older the people won't give you candy so theres a point when you can't trick or treat lol. But I thik the latest you should trick or treat is like 16

I'd say out of college. Just because then you should be spending your time at your job. From ages 1-9 you do it because everyone else does and you like getting dressed up 10+ you do it to have a good time and to score some free candy, also its really fun to act stupid one night of the year.

I don't know to be honest. When I was 13 I stopped enjoying it for the sweets and started enjoying it for the dressing up and social aspect. You know, walking around the streets dressed up 'scarily' ;) can be entertaining for a bunch of 16 year olds. I doubt I'll be doing anything next year though, so I'm going to say 16.

nvr just get that free candy wear a mask and say trick or treat in a high voice free candy ftw im going to have lil bro tell me houses with big candy and im go bike around and pick me up some big candy
