I spilt water on my I-Touch, it works now.... buuuuuutttt?

I blow dried it out, and it works, touch screen and all, i was going to see if the built in speakers worked, so i went into music and it said there is none, so i tried youtube, and it said unable to use wifi, well as you all know, apple pulls the bull **** warranty thing with water, so they cant do anything, but the thing is, it works, im restoring it now, and i will see, ill reset it and all that, but if it doesnt work im ****** because for one, i didnt even buy it, it was a gift from my parents, and i'm not old enough to get a job easily but im mowing lawns all i can, so its going to be hard to buy a new one, so does anybody have some ideas on fixing it, or an experience with this?
