My German Shepherd (5 yrs old) has had alot of gas lately.?

Only in the last several months and it is very smelly. He's been on the same dog food for months. What causes daily smelly gas? He never used to have this problem.

    could be any number of things maybe something he ate or some intestinal parasite he picked up. you can try giving him a teaspoon or two of plain non fat yogurt. when my GSD gets gas I give him the yogurt and it helps clear up the gas.

    Yes, mine gets Activia periodically. He loves it!

    I eat the Peach and Strawberry. He gets the Vanilla
