So.. do people know..?

That Melbourne are called the Storm, not Storms?

What's with this S fancination with many people, "Haynes", "Lyons"

Is it that hard to not add a bloody S?

Ok, this is an answer from someone who wants to have the Grand Final held in Melbourne:

"I think it is a very good move by the Victorian Government to have League Grand final moved away from Sydney to Melbourne. Why have a franchise in Melbourne (Storms) in the heart of AFL land? It was to truly nationalize the League. Now is the chance to do that. Melbourne Storms Deserve to have their 4th grand final in Melbourne. They deserve it. Anyhow its late now. If they make 5 in a row, why not have it down there then?"

Well, if you really want to have the GF in Melbourne, LEARN WHAT YOUR BLOODY TEAM IS CALLED!

Haha, I have noticed that actually!

My nephew has a habit of saying "Storms" but I think it's because all the other teams have an S at the end.. BroncoS, TitanS, CowboyS, etc. It's acceptable for a 3 year old, but I agree that it's stupid when people say it on places like Y!Answers 'cause obviously they're old enough to know better.

As for Haynes- I think that comes up from people who don't know really what they're talking about. Haynes is a pretty common surname- more so (where I'm from) than Hayne, so it would be easy for the not-so-obsessed fans to get mixed up..

    Don't be so picky Blakes.

It's always a good indication for an automatic thumbs down. Can't stand when people say Haynes and Storms.

LOLL, i was thinking the same thing. All my friends that say "Storms" are apparently Storm fans and all my friends that say "Haynes" are apparently Para fans.

  • vor 1 Jahrzehnt

What if they are talking about Steve Lyons?

Anyway it does annoy me.. all the kids you ask them. Who do you go for? I GO FOR THE STORMS -_-

Some people who say Storms are even Storm fans. Shows how much they know about their club. They must learn to spell before considering to support any team and sport. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgiPQ... is a site where someone said Storms (see if you can find him).

Storms actually sounds really bad, just ignorance really

I think they have no clue, same as melbourne fans, i remember when they first come into the comp their fans would cheer when they kicked the ball on the 5th, lmao.

    Let's compensate:

Or, hould I ay, let' compenate.

I think the people who have the habit of adding the letter '' to the end of name need to learn about the finer point of the team and player in the game.

Epecially the 'Hayne' one. That jut pie me off. I don't really mind when people do it to the torm becaue the torm doen't deerve to have their name pelt correctly.
