I can give the best answer because i m from india.we indians believed cow is holy because there r many reasons! We indians believed cow is like a god! Because in our devotional belief we believed it is a vechicle for lord shiva! Not only that we love it more because we feel mother nature in cows because it is the second option for a baby after mothers milk! So i think now u can understand!
