Is Obama going to do it?

As Commander-in-Chief, he could issue a stop loss order, but he couldn't really repeal the act. The bad thing about doing it this way is that without a repeal, then eventually those servicemen/women could be discharged and receive no benefits.

It's a good short-term measure, but should be done in conjunction with the introduction of a bill.

I don't think he'll even think about tackling it until health care is done.

As I have been telling people all along, Obama is NOT a supporter of gay rights. He openly opposes gay marriage, and his administration defends DOMA laws, which prevent federal and interstate recognition of gay marriages.

Obama may have made a few statements during the election to get LGBT votes, but Don't expect anything more from him.

He might, he might not, right now i'm sure he's struggling with the issues at hand - the president is only a puppet, when the people that really run the government tell him he can do it, he'll do it.

But then the economy turned upside-down and he now has more important things to worry about.

I hope he does!
