while pregnant is your sense of smell powerful?

It is for me. I can smell my husband a mile away. lol. I cant stand the smell of eggs cooking, cheese cooking, anything greasy... ugh.

I recently was pregnant, i miscarried at about 4 wks. but for about 2 wks i had a hightened sense of smell. thats part of how i know i had concieved.. (it just was not the right time i guess)

My twins are 15 yrs old now. And when pregnant with them the smell of eggs was the worst. Even now, 15 yrs later i cant stand the smell of eggs. i actually have to leave the room and open windows... lol. and complain to who ever is cooking them, it is kind of a family joke now...

Oh goodness YES!! I can smell a fart in India - i am telling you.

Yes, I was constantly nauseous because I was so sensitive to food, cigarettes, perfume, etc. But, don't base your decision around this, be safe. Get a test.

yes! that was the only reason i took the test to begin with! i could smell for what seemed like miles!

it is an early sign of pregnancy along with tender breast,tiredness and sickness, id do a test to be 100% sure though

Oh yes... Certain smells made me so nauseous!!

o yes!!!!! I actually got sick smelling fried chicken, thats how I new I was pregnant!!!

yes, i found that was my main symptom, especially around cigarettes.
