What or who is left to exploit?

When my oldest daughter was in junior high, she was in local and state competition for a couple of years. She did win a few crowns.

She had been an exceptionally timid child, so this turned out to be very constructive in ways I had not anticipated.

It enhanced many good qualities in her character as it also alleviated her shy disposition. She blossomed into a well adjusted, assertive and positive young lady with a college degree in business marketing. She has her own successful company today. :D

But, this was some thirty years ago, when respect and protocol was strictly by the book.

These virtues seem so archaic in society today. What a shame...

For every material gain, much quality is always sacrificed.

I watched a couple of times but I can't stand to watch it anymore,

those poor kids have no childhood,and to dress them like adults with the fake teeth and fake hair is disgusting.

I saw one of the girls without all that makeup and hair and teeth and she didn't look anything like she did in the pageant,

she was much prettier with out all that mess on her face.

i've never seen a whole episode but i think it's f*cking crazy the stuff they do to those poor little kids. when i was that age i liked to run around barefoot in the backyard and play with dinosaurs. not get fake eyelashes and spray tans.

I have never heard of the show before...Is it a network show?
