how would you know something is true?

Something is true if...

1. It can be supported by reliable evidence

2. it's logically sound

3. If you witnessed it with your own senses + analysis

4. it's based on factual studies

5. it's NOT based on lies.

There are some things that can neither be proven nor disproven to be true.. though.

Example : Is God true?Maybe, maybe not.

>Lack of evidence (we can't see Him).

>Limitation of human mind ( How sure are we that He doesn't exist?)

Lack of evidence and the limitation of the human mind hinder us from knowing what's real from not.

For something to be considered to be true, one must base it on fact and actuality. And, therefore what is real and reality per se is true. What is happening around you.. what you see, what you hear, what you feel, what you taste... they are all real and therefore true..

.. And sometimes you may base it on what you know... there are times that it does not end only with facts and data but it depends on how we perceived it to be, based on our own judgement... for instance.. for me: it don't matter what other people say about a certain person, its what I know about him that I may consider as true.

1. Something is true if there is a solid proof...

2. If you felt it with your 5 senses..

3. If you felt it with your sixth sense..

4. If you believe that it is true.(Faith)

Keep in mind that we cannot verify nor deny the existence of God. There is faith and there is science.

Understanding that mistakes can be made....your personal opinion concerning the subject and most of all "trust"..........If you understand what is being said or done and if you are able to express your opinion,then all you will need is "trust"...........dat is how we know something is true or false.,happy days to you!

something is true if ---

1. your gut feel says it is true

2. the one who said it is credible and reliable

3. you want it to be true

on what should i know, that something is true?...issues?, events?, questions?...like IS IT TRUE THAT OSAMA IS OBAMA?...or anything like that..

well simple,...at first im gonna ask everything that could demand legitimate answers

like what is it

how it got there

why is it that so...etc.etc.etc.

lets comprimise...the 5 W's and one H

WHAT,WHO WHEN,WHERE,WHY AND HOW

and then, one should analyze and contemplate, the records, the history, the cases, the reports and the resources....

investigate thoroughly about the possibilities and alternatives....like (IF OSAMA IS OBAMA, THEN HOW DID HE GOT THERE?)

write the records,datas and analyze everything that should be analyze...and then by the end,...

you can easily conclude the subject matter....

There is no guarantee, unless a politician is uttering something. That would most certainly be a lie.

if your gut tell you something wrong go with it being wrong if your gut tells you it's true then believe it's true.

you will know it in your heart.if something inside of you tells you that it is not true,then most probably,you are correct. follow your intuitions.

When a particular feeling/s is/are strong enough and so intense, but often unexplainable is considered my "gut feel".
