I have had major TV pixelation ever since digital transition. How can I clear this up?
Ever since the transition from analog to digital television broadcasting I have not been able to watch television without lots of interference from pixelation, including losing sound all together about half the time. Thry say the digital television is supposed to be so much better, but when I had analog I could see and hear all my channels just fine.
I am receiving only free channels using a digital transformation box with a regular antenna. What can I do (not switching to cable, sattelite, etc) to improve quality of this supposed "better" service?

You need a better antenna, and probably one that can handle both VHF (ch 2-13) and UHF (ch 14-51) channels.

If you are more than 15 miles from the transmitters for your local channels, you probably need an outdoor antenna, or at least one in your attic. Not some little rabbit ears on top of the TV, but a real antenna like those you see on rooftops.
Many people got used to living with a poor quality analog picture. You could always see and hear the channel even if it was snowy and wavy. That won't work for digital.
