We had a conversation with friends about this one evening when we were all bored. The answers went from realistic to absurd. One gal said loads of deodorant soap because they didn't bathe often back then. One guy said he'd take extra batteries and his lap-top and show them the movies of Madre. What are you going to take give me 9 realistic and one really wild one. (Can you believe they suggest parents and parenting for a catagory?)

a history book - so i would know whats comin and were to be so i wont get involved in the bad stuff
extra tennis shoes - they had bad shoes back then
my cell phone - just to see if i can get bars in bizzare places like they do in movies
lots of chocolate - jus incase they didn't have any back then
a camera - get evidence of stuff no one has documented before
a coat - theirs weren't thick like ours now so i'd freeze
a copy of the guiness book of records - to see if anyone back then could top our records
a self charging flashlight - i don't trust torches
couple bottles of bug spray - i'd go nuts without it
some medicine - ours is better now then back then
