What's the meaning of this? Don't worry about him. His goose is well cooked.?

Hi, normally I'm quite sure about me english but this gave me troubles. I just watch a film where a lad was telling this to another and I'm not sure about the meaning.

TA for helping.

Update:

Thanks for helping to everyone. Made my decision. I'd like to choose each of you but they don't let me.

His goose is well cooked = his days are numbered.....so whatever he's getting up to is going to go bad.

It seems the expression originated from the first reformer (102 years before Luther) of the Church, John Hus(s) (lit. Goose) 1372-1415. Hus was burned to death for his rebellion against the authority of the church, leading to the taunt that the heretics goose was cooked, i.e. the cause was finished or ruined.

If your goose is cooked, then you are in big trouble and it'll be hard to get out of it.

So if you've done something wrong and somebody finds out about it, then your goose is cooked.

It's means that he's already been found out, so he's in BIG trouble
