Where can I find a dress in Australia to wear to a christening?
I really don't have a lot of money to spend but so far I don't have many options for a nice outfit that is suitable for a christening - if you know of a shop that I can look at around Brisbane that I can buy either a blouse or dress for under $50 please let me know! (P.S. I am 24 so something age appropriate too!) Thanks.

A shop called Forever New. Their dresses usually start at around $100 but there is one at DFO in Brisbane and they always have dresses on sale. I saw a really pretty pink one at the Melbourne DFO yesterday for $40 because it was the last one.
Alternatively you could wear a pair of black pants and a nice top (Forever New also sells really nice tops).

The last couple of Christenings I've attended nobody was particularly dressed up.
You may even have something in your wardrobe that's suitable.
All the new summer lines are in the shops now so how about a little sundress from Target or Sussan or similar. I can't see it getting cold through the day again in Brisbane until next winter.

for age appropriate try fashion fair- you can get some really nice dresses for about $30 from there.
I also like to look in Millers for dressy day wear- you might find that a bit fuddy duddy though, I never go to the shops in the more affluent areas though as it's the ones in the lower class areas that tend to have the really nice stuff.

under 50 bucks is hard but try browsing the "forever new" shop's website, they have cheap clothes that are nice.
