National Health Care....a bureaucrat's view?

Ok, I have worked for government for quite a while. You can safety say I am a government bureaucrat. First, believe me you do not want a government bureaucrat deciding which operation you get, 2) You should also know your health care we be simple budget item and as is typical in government when the budget is gone so will be your health care, third, national health care will result in health care dropping to its lowest common denominator, fourth, Do you really think anything else will happen?

No I think health care will be horrible under a government run plan.

Et cetera: People have Medicare taxes taken out of their paycheck every pay day. They have paid for it. If you had ever worked you would know that.

Obviously, you haven't bothered to read the bill. There is no call for government run health care. People who choose to opt in to the public option will pay premiums just like we all do, and they will be covered just like all Medicare and VA beneficiaries are covered. 22,000 people die each year from a lack of access to health insurance....and 62% of ALL bankruptcies in this nation are by people who have health insurance, but who are denied coverage when they need it most.

Those that have Medicare are not complaining.  Perhaps you need to get out more and ask the Medicare participants if they want to give it up.
