my faves are moulin rouge and sweet november.
also if ur into it, try repo the genetic opera, not really a LOVE story like between two ppl who are lovers, but its about the relationship a girl has with her father, and yes someone dies..well a few ppl die.

Tess of the d'Urbervilles.
Its a TV show and the book based on Thomas Hardy. Its SOO SOO SOO SOO SOO good. This gurl (Tess) she gets raped by this guy and after she gets married her husband ditches her coz he finds out dat she wasnt "pure" and i will leave it up to u to find da ending U HAVE to watch this. i NEVER cry in a movie.. but this one made me close to tears.
