Phil Jack"Zen" - Stan Van Gundy isn't even the conversation. He put the right guy in the right situation when exactly? Doc Rivers would be near the top. Pat Riley, based on his past. You can't penalize Phil for having Kobe, Shaq, Jordan & Pippen. That's like penalizing Belicheck for having Tom Brady. It's a catch-22. Was Jackson great because Jordan & Kobe were. Or Was Kobe & Jordan great because Jackson was. I don't remember hearing people being in awe of them before ole Phil got there....

not phil jackson, he had shaq, kobe, pippen, AND mj. of course you're gonna win with them as the players you coach. the best coach to me is probably stan van gundy because he can put the right player into the right situations.
