Hi,
Most of the new games will run on this card, yes it is similar to 9800G from Nvidia, GO FOR IT, just check and compare the price in retail store.

Hmm it would be a little hard to find the Original Driver from ATI for the card. So some other graphics card bought from the store should just work well but well if you want cards to be good just buy a card with larger memory. I recommend ATI because of it's speed recovery and refresh rate.
